FOG

FOG

60 Min (GER) 2014 – 5.1

A train station in the fog. Tracks lost in the white, a person waiting. A fox appears between the wafts of fog, holding its nose to the wind. Then roaring, shimmering, silence. And still fog. Views of nature intertwine with fleeting encounters. People who inhabit their own worlds: an astronomer, a musician, a groom. They are all driven by a silent longing for contact, connection and a clear view. Far from explanations, the film attempts to make an inner roar palpable. To approach an emptiness that cannot be grasped.
