IN SEARCH OF STOLEN TIME
86 Min (AT) 2025 – 5.1
In a world that races ever faster, IN SEARCH OF STOLEN TIME takes viewers on a journey through our awareness of time. It traces how clock-driven time, which emerged in a monastery in the Middle Ages, has come to govern our work, our society and ultimately our lives.
The film deconstructs the formula “time is money” and asks: how can we navigate time more consciously, so that we reclaim “stolen” moments? How might we live more of our own time, with depth, presence, and meaning in our everyday lives? Through curiosity and a series of thought-provoking interviews, the film demonstrates to us, literally, how time influences our actions and how new technologies are reshaping our very understanding of who we are in time.
